What version of Python did you use to execute the code successfully ? I'm getting the following error when using Python 3.10.12:

TypeError: 'numpy._DTypeMeta' object is not subscriptable

I've read that the error can be caused with certain numpy/Python combinations, although no specific combinations were provided. It seems worth a shot to try the version of Python that worked for you.
