My name is Benjamin Otieno Jaoko and I just finished a BootCamp in data analysis. I hereby express my interest in contributing to MDAnalysis as part of GSoC 2025.
I am a beginner in open-source contributions and currently have experience in Python language. I am eager to learn and improve my skills while contributing to meaningful projects. I would appreciate any guidance on how I can start contributing to the organization and prepare for GSoC.

Hello @Benja-cloud , thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, the deadline to apply for GSOC with MDAnalysis has passed; as we wrote in our MDAnalysis GSoC 2025 blog post you needed to submit a pre-proposal by March 21 and this deadline has passed.
