how can i contribute to your organization through Gsoc 2025

My name is Aditya S Malagi and I am a first-year Electronics and Communication Engineering student. I am interested in contributing to MDAnalysis as part of GSoC 2025.
I am a beginner in open-source contributions and currently have experience in Python and C language. I am eager to learn and improve my skills while contributing to meaningful projects. I would appreciate any guidance on how I can start contributing to the organization and prepare for GSoC.

As you may have read in our blog post https://www.mdanalysis.org/2025/02/28/gsoc2025/ , we established a 2-stage process for applications, and we required a preproposal to be submitted by March 21, 2025. As this deadline has passed, we won't be able to consider your application. There are many more other cool orgs in GSOC 2025 so we hope you'll find success there.
