Originally this character is from the game Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2. A live actor played him in the cutscenes, you fought him in the final level of the game, and you could play as him in multiplayer mode. I was always him in multiplayer mode. Somebody called Shred created a high poly version of all 3D models in JK:DF2 called JKE (Jedi Knight Enhanced.) This high-poly (yet still JK:DF2-compatible) version of Jerec is the one I port to other games. (Even though sometimes I port the lower quality original one too.) With the help of Jin, I ported Jerec to Craftopia as a VRoid, and to VR Chat (not sure what avatar format there), I also ported him to PlayCanvas, where I made some tech demos with him as the character. I found a Minecraft Jerec on the internet made by some other user, and was able to set him as my avatar there. He's also ported to other games by users, like the original Battlefront games. The only official model of him is the very low poly one from JKDF2, so most mods that feature Jerec are user made or ported from JKE as well. |
