Can't connect to Civitai

When initially connecting to Civitai I generate an API and enter it into Stability Matrix when prompted. I get a message:

"Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

I've tried re-generating the API key but it seems there aren't many other steps to try. I'm running from the downloaded app image on linux.

Checking in again to see if there is any info to be had? I'm getting this still after months across multiple linux distros and windows 11. Brand new install on a brand new linux install.
