Default OAuth scope seems to be deprecated. #1019

Question
Hi. I'm currently setting up client to server authentication which involved researching the default scopes used here and those that are actually available here.
I could not find any reference to the following default scope:
http://gdata.youtube.com
I was also unable to add this scope to my Google Auth client using the console as it returned an error stating this scope does not exist.
Is this an unofficial scope still supported by YouTube?
It seems the correct scope is this:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube
Thoughts?
