Lua 5.4.4 compilation error

I keep getting the following error when compiling, this error has been around for several weeks now
src\lane.cpp(712,45): error C3861: 'lua_closethread': identifier not found

Hmmm. it happens that lua_closethread was introduced by Lua 5.4.6, therefore it does not exist in Lua 5.4.4. I'm afraid that your best option here is to upgrade. I've enough trouble maintaining compatibility with major versions without having to handle minor version quirks as well :-).

mGBA and BizHawk emulators are linking to Lua 5.4.4. I will wait for your next release and then raise an issue for them to update to 5.4.6+
