@IZ2QDH just sent me a translation using Stringlate which appears to have created a branch either from an old commit or an experimental branch, it's difficult to tell. I don't use Stringlate, so, as he says, he may have done something wrong, I don't know. The pull request is here: billthefarmer/currency#51. However I don't think that the app should be capable of doing something as weird as that.

Sorry for the inconveniences caused, I feel like I should add an alert at app startup warning people that there are several bugs and the application is not really maintained anymore.

Possibly you should put a note in the F-Droid manifest so that it shows up in the F-Droid app and on their web site
