These reg files do nothing on latest version of windows 11

Not sure what I am doing wrong - i disabled all the sound devices, imported the Dolby digital and DTS reg file (not all reg files)
Re-enabled just the SPDIF sound device i wanted, nothing new showed up on that device.

I managed to import the reg files into latest version of Windows 11 and I see the new formats but when selecting channels there is only still 2 channels available and not 5.1 etc.
