@PeterGrabowitz @BlobbyBob Should we add some default terms and conditions that users have to accept upon registration? Just to be on the safe side, because users are shown with their clear names and timestamps + geolocation in the logs.

We could maybe also add some text to disallow scraping of the DB data (even though I think that's already disallowed by default by law).

Do you mean terms and conditions as "AGB" equivalent? I'm not too sure whether this helps this much legally or not.
I would rather advocate to explicitly annotate fields in the UI which are publicly visible and allow users to use pseudonyms or not provide any (fine-grained) data. As far as I'm concerned, the latter is already implemented everywhere: Geolocation is optional, arbitrary clear names are allowed and timestamps may be represented by year only.

Yes, like an AGB. You're right that all this is all pretty obvious, but I'm not sure if this is enough in this context. I guess adding a checkbox on registration + a minimal text explaining that all logs are public etc will do no harm.
I'm not sure how much I would like all the fields as being tagged "public". The less UI clutter the better, I think. .. basically everything is public at this point but todos and email.

Yeah, I understand your point. Unfortunately, my experience is focused on GDPR and unrelated legislative areas. If you are not too sure as well, maybe its best to try to find a boulderer who is qualified enough to judge this issue properly?
