After resetting local settings hidden items are shown

I set up Dashy with a keycloak authentication, to be able to show a certain group of users specific items.
The problem is when i am in the Dashy UI and click reset local settings, every hidden item will be shown afterwards.
I have set disableConfiguration in the config, but this setting will not be prevented by this.
Is there a way to prevent this from happening?
