Using users logins to change the contents of widgets

Hey,

I am currently thinking about using dashy as a central Dashboard for the company. But I don't only want to show links to various things but also provide some widgets. For example I would like to show new mails for the current user and give the user the ability to start his time tracking. For this to work I would need to use the login data of the current user for further usage. It this possible? How I would I go about it?
I plan to use Keycloak as the authentification provider for all the mentioned services - so it should be possible, right? Either by making a custom widget or using Iframe in some capacity. But I have no clue how I would use the login data of the current user.
Has anyone got an idea?
