It would be nice to be able to obtain a pre-built jar file for the latest release or each major version.
I am thinking you would only need two at the moment 1.x.x and 2.x.x along with a comment regarding which version of Java it was built with.
I am not new to software development, but I am new to the more modern integrated-development and build tools. I do not currently remember what a pom.xml file is good for.
Trying to figure out how to convert the downloaded source into a jar file will take me a bit of time to figure out. Newer developers may be in the same boat that I am.
I simply want to start using openPDF, but do not know where to start when it comes to building from source.
