@dawadam this is a very good question. This is expected behaviour, especially when you're trying to download recent/new data. If hourly data cannot be inferred from the hourly binary artifacts (.bi5 files), dukascopy-node will fallback to the lower timeframes |

Let's imagine that I don't want any data to be generated, to make sure it is created manually. Incidentally, would it be possible to use the candle generator separately, for instance if we have candles coming from another data source? |

Hello,
I would like to understand why candlesticks are being generated.
For example, if I load 1-hour candlesticks on EUR/USD, I see minute and tick candlesticks in the cache.
Additionally, when I enable the logs, I notice that candlesticks are being generated.
Why does this generation occur?
And is it possible to disable this function?
