Not working with new ASUS System Control Interface v3 V3.1.41.0

After updating to ASUS System Control Interface v3 V3.1.41.0 - FanControl++ no working. "Can't find fan" error.

I'll try to find a solution. The issue also occurred in other programs/forks that control the fan using the same method.

In the mean time, a temporary fix would be to roll back ASUS System Control Interface v3 back to the last known working version 3.1.38.0.

Rolling back Asus System Control Interface using the installer that you provided doesn't seem to solve the issue for me. In fact, I can't even get that specific version to install, the driver version says 3.1.39.0

NVM, had to force delete the previous driver using DriverStoreExplorer. Works now.

According to this comment it might be enough to run the exe with SYSTEM permission.

So it seems like we need to run the tool as SYSTEM, but the app currently need Registry access (which the SYSTEM user doesn't have). I'll try for a workaround, or something to invoke the driver as SYSTEM, or "lite mode" which it won't accessing the Registry anymore.
