"Your device can't be used with this site" on chrome #29

Description

@erjoalgo

I'm trying to sign into a website where I had previously registered Fido U2F as my token. I'm unable to sign in on the latest chrome, chrome refuses to accept the token:

Your device can't be used with this site
example.com may require a newer or different kind of device

I'm using all the latest versions:

Chromium Version 137.0.7151.55 (Official Build) built on Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm) (64-bit)

Fido U2F version 1.3.2

1.3.2 Firmware

Googling this error points to this article which suggests some kind of deprecation:

Is it still possible to use Ledger as a token for authenticating to various websites?

I also tried Firefox but it does not even seem to recognize the device or send a request to the FIdo U2F app.
