How to remove "overlay" label in Plex without Plex Pass?

Labels are a Plex Premium feature, and Kometa uses the labels to detect if an overlay has been applied.

How can I change a poster for an item that has an overlay, if I'm unable to remove the "overlay" label?

You can use Kometa to do this since it won't be visible in the UI for you:
