Description:

A user shared that when reading Gurbani on STTM Desktop/Web, translations are shown one below the other. As you scroll, the original Pankati disappears, making it hard to follow the context. It also isn’t possible to view different translations at the same time. User said he's sure that if STTM will do something of the kind, it will give an impetus to a lot of serious sikh research.

Suggested Solution by the user:

  • Keep the Gurbani line visible while showing translations/commentaries.

  • Allow users to view multiple translations side by side instead of stacked vertically.

  • (Optional) Add support for dictionaries and study/journal notes in the future.

The user suggested looking at e-Sword (Christian Bible study software) as an example, where commentaries and resources are easy to compare in parallel. Screenshot attached below:
