Amazing stuff...! Long time linux user, Nix and NixOS noob here, so be patient please: I don't get one thing: how do you "link" all those .nix files together? If I understand correctly they're all "modules" but I can't figure out how they merge into flakes: looking at the code you didn't use a single "let" or "in/output" that makes me think that you're not using flakes but "simply" configuration.nix file and modules... I'm there making my mind on flakes and home-manager and I don't understand how to treat your amazing work... anyway, thank you, lot of inspiration!

For this setup without the NGINX a configuration.nix would be sufficient. These are just separate nix files I import in one central file. Here is an example of that:

    ./prometheus.nix
    ./alertmanager.nix
    ./loki.nix
    ./grafana.nix
  ];
}

That would be enough to get everything going. Why I can't include the NGINX config is because I'm using sops-nix in there and that does require the use of a flake in my setup.

But everything else just makes use of the config property. To get into flakes I can recommend NixOS & Flakes Book and for home-manager I can recommend Home Manager Manual.
