Scroll by button tap

Hi.
I trying to add the possibility for scroll left/right by a button tap.
It is possible? Please help someone.

In "#selector" i put code below, but it not work :

mainCollection.scrollToItem(at: IndexPath(item: item, section: 0), at: .centeredHorizontally, animated: true)
