Blender crashing after using cavitiy detection

Dear Kai,

when I use the post-processing tool "Detect Cavities", the program loads very long and eventually crashes.
Any ideas how to remedy this issue?

Hi, sounds like your structure is too large for the given cell size causing your system to run out of memory. Try to increase the cell size to reduce the number of cells.

Thanks for the hint. Unfortunately, increasing the cell size does not solve the problem for me.
