I managed to find out that the download command expects the dataset in format <owner>/<dataset-name> or <owner>/<dataset-name>/<version-number>, alowing in this way to specify the version. I didn't find anything about this in the documentation

The documentation in docs/README.md does list both alternatives, for both downloading and listing files. The problem apparently is that the --help option on the CLI client does not list the second alternative.
