I don't speak in any official capacity here, just as someone who's contributed a little in the past: this project isn't really seriously maintained. People who have an interest in it will occasionally fix bugs which are frustrating them, but it is not a particularly complete or stable system. You can easily find stuff that will fail to compile with llvm-cbe, and it doesn't really manage to keep up with the latest LLVM. Obviously you are more than welcome to submit patches though. It's a "use at your own risk" kind of situation. |

As the one "major"(?) project that does C++ to C, I wonder if we can depend on this project.
which raise the question: how is this project is maintained and is there plans to maintain it for years or it was just a one time thing and will not really update?
I expected any written explanation about it in the readme.
