Which node to use on HiDream and can they be combined? (added grid for HiDream)

Hi, new to this a bit, have worked with simpler workflows in the past and playing around with HiDream and Flux atm.

The question is which node to use for nice results on HiDream? Have tried basically all so far and it always made a bit of a mess...

Is there a "best settings" for HiDream yet?

Need to play around with flux before I can give a judgement.

I was also curious if it is a bad idea to use both the "multiply sigmas" and the sampler node at the same time? Guessing they basically do the same but on different "levels".

I haven't tried the Detail Daemon nodes with HiDream yet. It looks like it is working, given your images, but the amount is just turned up too high, which leaves too much noise in the image. You'll just need to play around with the settings to see what works best. I don't think you want to use the Multiply Sigmas and the Detail Daemon at the same time (or the Lying Sigma Sampler), because they do similar things.

HiDream is quite sensitive to added detail, everything above 0.2 on the Detail Deamon node distorts the image too much, below adds a slight bit of detail. My settings are HiDream Full Q4_K_M on Shift of 3, cfg of 3 and 20 steps with dpmpp_2m on sgm_uniform.

Image was done on 0.1 detail amount and it had a bit of added detail but not much impact on background...

added a grid test to showcase this, but set it up slightly wrong... Numbers are the amount on the detail deamon node:

up to 0.2, it adds detail but also start to add artefacts, afterwards it deteriorates the image a bit too much, at the flux value of 0.5 it is too much for my taste. (better image in the works with the whole range)

Thanks for your tests. You can definitely see how it affects skin texture as you increase the amount.
