If there is interest I would be willing to personally contribute $ and perhaps others would be as well to help with BTL certifying BACpypes3. I say that somewhat naively because I have little to no idea what is involved. |

Lots of IoT platforms use BAC0 or bacpypes under the hood. For example VOLTTRON IoT driver has used legacy bacpypes for years and years and I know OnBoard data IoT uses BAC0 under the hood. At least for IoT open source DIY bacnet drivers seem good enough. Normal Framework just made there own in Golang I think. |

BTL certification is more device and application specific. Ideally you would build your device and Bacnet stack (Bacpypes3). This then gets tested against the testing harness for compliance to certain subsections of compliance such as an application controller. There is nothing stopping you from certifying a device with bacpypes as long as it meets the test criteria for the certification level. |

Thanks - I am aware that you can't get software certified, i.e. it has to be a device. I was just wondering if anyone had actually done it since it is a very expensive process. |

HI Joel & Co.
do we know of any successful certification on any products using bacpypes3 or bacpypes classic?
