sample/write-property.py writing null to a Multistate Value

I am using the write-property sample to set a Multistate Value. Is there a way to write null to a priority/relinquish a priority?

Hello it should be the same as writing null() to any other point. Can you show some code?

Thanks @bbartling. Your app was helpful; I got it running using your example, I think the main issue was that I had not provided a priority.
