well, for the non polynomial, you can simply click two points and perform regression of 1 degree:

I meant custom functions, (those when you get when you add infinite polynomials eg. exponentials, it's inverse: the logarithm, the reciprocal function, etc.)

oh, I got that. Maybe this can be implemented in the later. (or you can just create pull requests to contribute :-). I'm quite busy recently
