There isn't anything built-in. Every time I create a crossword, I use a tool that I find by searching for "online crossword generator". Since I only create one crossword per year, it might be a different generator each time. Searching today, I find https://mycrosswordmaker.com/ and https://puzzel.org/en/features/create-crossword . |

Hi 👋
Is there any in-built algorithm/functionality that may help me to generate the crossword layout without setting "row" and "col" manually/hardcoded?
I'm using the crossword as a "quiz" so the "teacher" may input any words as the answers and that's why I can't have the hardcoded positions, or do you know any existing algorithm that I may use?
Appreciate your help 🙏
