Jans Server 1.1.5 with email otp

Hello,
Is it possible to get email OTP running on jans server version 1.1.5? I use this older version because of opendj. I have tried to add agama project email_2fa-agama-1.2.0-project.zip using jans tui. As casa plugin I have installed via GUI email_2fa-agama-1.2.0-project.zip. Casa and jans tui are working fine with these agama projects on jans server 1.1.5. When I select in casa GUI a different authentication method for a user like email OTP I receive an error that the "labels" variable in selector.flt file was not found. I saw that in the casa agama project 1.2.0 zip a labels.txt file is added in web folder which is missing in casa agama project 1.1.5 zip. Are there any other suggestions to get this running?

Mixing versions is not recommended because we only test using the same version accross components: jar, wars, and gama archives

For 1.2 we introduced more capabilities to internationalization in Agama so the "labels" error is related to that

You could try doing the below but there is no guarantee it will work:

• Use the casa agama project 1.1.5, ie. the original project coming with your installation. Don't do undeploy & deploy, just redeploy
• Use the casa plugin version 1.2
• Download the email2fa agama project version 1.2 to a local machine - we'll update the docs because the project linked there is not correct

And retrofit the project this way:

• unzip the file
• In a text editor open all files found under web directory
• Replace all occurrences that look like ${labels(...)} with static text that you can find in labels.txt
• If some entries are not found there, take a look at this file
• Save your changes and zip again
• Deploy the file

Follow the parameterization instructions. In the last step instead of using textkey just do "text": "some static text"

Thanks for the helpful suggestion. Just to confirm that I am on the right track: I have downloaded the email_2fa-agama-1.2.0-project.zip and opened the /web folder. Here I found also a labels.txt file where most of the labels are defined (see below). Is it also possible to add the missing labels to that file like the missing entry casa.2fa_verification=2-step verification or casa.login=Login? I saw these labels in files otp-email-prompt.ftlh and otp-email.ftlh of the web folder. Or is it important to put clear text for all "labels" as you mentioned and as e.g. shown below?

exactly. In 1.1.5 the labels file does not have any effect because the feature was implemented in 1.2, so actually you can remove it from web folder in your case
