Can I compile the plugin for UE4 ?
I am on Linux if that matters.

It won't compile by default, see this other attempt: #703
UE4 is mostly single point precision, while JSBSim and UE5 are using doubles. So first have to fix those errors to get it to compile. There might be some other things that need tweaked as well. And the sample project blueprints won't work, as you can't go backwards with saved uassets.

and jsbsim was never UE4 compatible ? I mean earlier versions when UE5 didnt exist yet for example ?
i wont mind pulling an old version.

Yep, if you look at the Git history for the Unreal plugin, the first commit from May 2022 specifically mentions it's for UE5.
