So my PC client settings works just fine after every fresh "apply settings", tests on and off works fine after that. Then the TV turns off along the PC, but when I switch the PC back on, my sencodary monitor works, but my C5 won't turn on. After PC fully starts, I rerun a test thought the client, and it shows a msg "Failed to connect to named pipe. Service may be stopped". So I ran a debug log and towards the end it shows as below: [ . 17:02:10][D---][ System ] System shutdown detected I have tried multiple settings to make sure everything that might have related to the communication between PC and the TV, ie. turned off firewall, clash, proxy, or white list every exe in LGTVcompanion install folder. The TV has turned on wake on lan/wifi and always stays on as well. Client setting wise tried to turn on topology and mannually set network/ip, presistence keep alive and pc HDMI switch all set. Again, everything works fine everytime I repress the apply button after a fresh PC start, tests TV on and off smoothly and everything. But the TV just won't turn back on automatically when PC starts, something has made the service to turn off maybe? So please help me a little bit with what I can tweak with. Much appreciated for any help! |

Hi @thapotato, The log ooks quite normal. When the PC is shutting down the service is also shutting down, when done. But, the service should also start again when the PC is started. Press WIN+R (run) and exe ute services.msc and vheck that LGTV Companion Service (LGTVsvc.exe) is set to run automstically. |

Hmm, that is interesting. Happy you could work around it though. One caveat is that LGTVC will inevitably be slower to turn on the display, since the service is slower to start. But of course it is better than the display not turning on at all 😜 Thanks too! :) |

Please also check if there are any error messages related to LGTVC in the windows event log. The app will also perform some logging there related to starting the service. Search for "LGTVsvc" in Adminstrative Events |

Okay, I did what you suggest and dug through all dependency services, but ended up finding all of them set to automatically start and being turned on.
Then I found a solution and solved the problem. I looked up on other discussions over windows 10 services that failed to automatically start, and one of them suggests to change the "automatic" start setting to "automatic delayed", then magic happened and it worked.
So yeah, the program itself never had any issue, but rather a windows service start order kind of issue I guess. Anyway, porblem solve, thanks once again for your time and help. Love your work and will donate!
