A quick hint to save you from going through all these steps just to avoid Windows asking for CD.
You just install Windows from CD as usual then when finished copy setup files from CD to drive C
in a folder say C:\Win98Files, after that open regedit and go to this key

Hello,

Copy Installation to HDD before run setup
A quick hint to save you from going through all these steps just to avoid Windows asking for CD.
You just install Windows from CD as usual then when finished copy setup files from CD to drive C
in a folder say C:\Win98Files, after that open regedit and go to this key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup
and change the value of "SourcePath" to wherever you copied setup files, C:\Win98Files in my example.
That's it, CD is no more required.
btw I like your work here, keep it up!
