To be honest I like the stable interface more too, but it was getting incredibly hard to squeeze functionality into. Good catch on the compression setting needing to be re-selected from the watcher, I've fixed that now. #530 The watcher doesn't run at intervals, it uses the Windows filesystem watcher to notify when the monitored folders change. If monitored folders change, then it will set itself up to autorun when the computer is idle. It doesn't run on schedule because that would lead to issues with system performance if the PC is in use. If left idle for 5 minutes, it will run any compression it needs to in the background. If you start using the computer again, it will pause compression, and wait until the computer is idle again (another 5 minutes) before resuming. |

Hello,
Great work.
I liked the stable interface more than the beta. The beta needs compression settings to be chosen every time, if I recall correctly. I don't have a computer to test it on right now, but I remember the beta interface had an issue with forgetting compression settings for folders.
The auto watcher doesn't seem to run at intervals, at least not always. I suggest adding the possibility of setting a custom interval, e.g. every 8h.
Thanks!
