About D555 camera and spare parts

Hi,

I want to ask about the new D555 camera with Ethernet.

Currently we are using D455 cameras using spare parts (camera module, plain cable and V4 processor module). What are the differences between D555, as I have seen the camera module it's the same, and the only difference is the image processor which is the V5 module.

I supose that it's possible to work with this camera directly by ethernet.
How is the camera powered? Is PoE needed or it's possible to power it by USB?

It's possible to buy the camera by spare parts instead of the complete D55? What are the spare parts needed? I have seen images of the V5 image processor module and I don't see the ethernet connector socket.

Hi,

D555 is a PoE camera. It is powered by ethernet cable.
We don't sell separate modules for D555 for now. We may do this later, but we don't decide it yet.

Thanks for your reply. So it can only be powered by PoE. That's OK?

I have seen in real sense store that there is a bundle pack with the processor v5, which is the one used by D555. But the ethernet connector is not there.

So at the moment it's not possible to buy it using separate parts...

It's possible to make a request about it to take on consideration by RealSense?.
