Hi Jeff, if you upgraded the firmware after being prompted in realsense-viewer to do so then you should have the recommended librealsense version installed for that particular version of realsense-viewer. If you installed a different SDK version though with your precompiled installation then the currently installed firmware may not be suited for that SDK and realsense-viewer version. The recommended firmwares for recent versions are: 2.56.5 to 2.57.2: 5.17.0.10 or newer If you have changed the SDK version then you should be able to change to the appropriate firmware for that version in realsense-viewer again by using the pop-up firmware update prompt when the program launches.. |

I have a RealSense D415. I first ran it under Ubuntu 24.04. I compiled the librealsense SDK from sources and did the RSUSB option. I ran realsense-viewer. It asked to upgrade the firmware. I did. The camera then worked under realsense-viewer under Ubuntu 24.04.
But I now need to run it under Ubuntu 22.04. I installed the precompiled librealsense SDK and the precompiled realsense-viewer. But when I run it, it doesn't work. It complains that there are no frames after 5 seconds.
Is this due to the firmware upgrade? Can I downgrade the firmware? How? To which version?
Thanks,
Jeff
