Is it Possible to measure the volume of an object with realsense D455?

Hi, i'm working on a project to calculate the volume for a symmetric or asymmetric object, could i do it with a single D455 camera? Thankyou

I notice that if the object's too small / thin, it couldn't be detected, is it possible to configure the camera / program to detect thin objects?
