Progressing through the authoring of Howto docs

I have made a few additions to the Howto doc collection (probably never actually done), I know

If anyone has a moment to glance through and suggest any missing topics or areas that need clarification or more attention in general, there is actually a way to do that in GitHub, by filing an issue. An example issue might be navigation from the top of the project to the actual Howtos, the implementation of language translation (automated with GitLocalize probably, though they seem to support one source language per source directory, rather than per file), and probably more.

The ov- project repositories will get rejiggered to include some modular idea and spec and reference docs, ideally translatable, and then some issues filed against these top-level component repositories as part of the backlog. This should make it easier to see what looks like a starting point to anyone joining in the fun.

I have added a few new Howto docs and made some changes to others and the ov- repos are taking shape to hopefully align with the Howto suggestions where applicable.

If there are missing items, open questions, errors, this is the place to discuss!
