Description
Have you looked for an answer?
We met some of the Infineon representatives during a conference, and local Infineon representatives about this, but the question seems practical and not commercial, so I am asking there too.
Question/Issue:
I wanted to add Zephyr RTOS support to the FX5, FX5N, FX10 and FX20 to facilitate integration. I suppose some binary libraries from the current SDK would need to be used. What would be the easiest way for you to have it done?
For instance, inclusion of some elements to the various FreeRTOS-based repos in the Infineon HAL? We cannot really create a hal_tinyvision
that contains Infineon elements...
These are long-term concerns, however, as we are still waiting the public availability of these parts.
Context
The Zephyr RTOS might get UVC and USB3 support going, and this will be usable on any chip that Zephyr supports, this allows to benefit from a growing collection of image sensors, which helps building USB devices faster, interesteing for our own FX10/FX20-based projects.
Where did you expect to find the answer?
Issue trackers like this one seems appropriate for open-source software related discussion.
