IDC Browser installation is broken on linux for versions 5.8.1 and newer

Installation of python dependencies fails and as a result IDC Browser is non-functional.

@pieper in Slicer/Slicer#8616 (comment) you say "I can say that the current preview, as of 2025-08-01 does work to piip install pyarrow". So does it mean it is resolved? Or I misunderstood?

@fedorov - the IDC browser installs and works with the current preview build, which was resolved due to the updated python manylinux version noted in the linked issues.

But Quantitative Reporting is not available, which seems to be due to a dcmqi issues: https://slicer.cdash.org/builds/3884640

Is this something you are already tracking elsewhere? If so we can close this issue. There will be a new release soon so developing a workaround for 5.8.1 is probably not worth the effort.
