SB calculation

Hallo,

I am analysing vcf files that are produced from miseq. There is strand bias filter used, but i dont know how this SB is calculated. I need to understand this to be able to find the right threshold. Can you please tell me, how the SB is calculated in miseq pipeline? Thankyou!

Hi, I'm not sure this is the correct library for you. This library is designed for converting to GTCs which are the product of an iScan (Microarray) pipeline. I don't know a lot about the SB or how its calculated w.r.t VCFs generated from a MiSeq. I would reach out to support@illumina.com with your question.
