Description
Description: Make-up classes, paper distribution, demos. Why are they scheduled so inefficiently? Academic department knows which student is registered for what course, so why not handle it
Affects: All students
Challenges:
- Data: Some people in academic department verbally said they could give this. Though this is likely to be conditional on data remaining private.
- Security. Keeping data private.
- Keep data updated at all times. Student registrations may change (late drop).
Potential Ideas:
- If some time isn't feasible, show the next best time
- If no common time can be found, show combinations of two times such that students are available at at least one of those times. Still useful for stuff like demos.
