Improve configuration helper module.

Probably move the configuration from commonjs module to typescript and breakdown the functionality to classes and factory methods if necessary to separate files with a single responsibility.

We should think about the something like Foundation package/module , so it should contains all the general functionalities which we can use in other projects also and implementation should be very much generic to plug into other projects or modules easily.
