text alignment options on buttons?

Hello, I'm currently trying to port an old acrobat add-on script of mine to work in a standalone react/electron app with the help of pdf-lib - it's going great so far, i really like it :)
I can't however seem to figure out how/if its possible to left align the text on a button which is quite important for me - any suggestions on how to do that? (I'm creating a dynamic number of buttons with text of various length, which will be part of a large table spanning multiple pages)
