References to last year's repo in README

Exercise 2 step 1 tells the user to create a repo from the template used in last year's repo. Should we set up this repo to be templated instead since this one has all the stuff we need?

Also as a meta note for curious first time github users who see this during the workshop, this is an issue. Issues are a good place to discuss problems and solutions for a project, as well as suggesting future improvements. It's good to link related issues in your pull request descriptions so that others working on your project can see discussions that lead to the changes you are making in your pull request.
