Volume mount for database container can become corrupted

Sometimes the files get corrupted and you get unexpected behaviour from the volume mount. It was better to just not have it.

I have a folder that is ignored by docker. Users can use that folder to store a backup of the database.

I've renamed the issue - does the name I've given it reflect what you're describing? I'm guessing that you mean specifically the database volume mount based on the code link you provided
