Ender 3 v3 Runout Sensor Function Removed?

I installed the helper tool on my Ender 3 V3 Plus. I removed the Creality Tools and installed Fluidd and Guppy. Recently, during a long print where I expected the filament to end, my runout sensor did not pause the print as I would have expected. I am wondering if this was removed with the Creality Tools though Klipper does support runout sensor pauses as well.

I have the same issue with the Ender3 V3 non-plus. The klipper config suggests its using the right switch but its not working.
