Installing issue on Ender 3 V3 KE

Using it since months without any issue, I had a new issue when installing from scratch,

When installing mobile raker:

System package install complete.
Checking Python Virtual Environment For Mobileraker Companion...
No virtual environment found, creating one now.
/usr/data/mobileraker_companion/scripts/install.sh: line 171: virtualenv: not found
root@Ender3V3KE-0EED /root [#] ls /usr/data/mobileraker_companion/scripts/install.sh

any idea?

Getting a similar issue when trying to install OctoApp companion:

Requirement already satisfied: virtualenv in /usr/lib/python3.8/site-packages (15.1.0)

Brand new K1 Max, with helper script installed this morning. Moonraker, Mailsail, Fluidd, Entware all installed fine. Just OctoApp companion failed.

Can you run which virtualenv?

I could have, but I've actually got it working now. For the record,:

1. Brand new K1 Max, firmware updated to 1.3.3.46
2. SSH to machine
3. Downloaded and installed the Helper Script as per directions on Wiki
4. Installed moonraker, mailsail, fluidd, and entware using HelperScript
5. Installed OctoApp Companion - got error about virtualenv as described above.

Since then...

6. Rebooted machine (reboot command via ssh resulted in hang and blank screen on the machine, had to power cycle it)
7. Tried uninstalling OctoApp companion and it detected no virtualenv and created one for OctoApp
8. Tried installing OctoApp, reported already installed
9. Tried uninstalling OctoApp, something flashed really quickly and went back to menu
10. Tried installing again, reported already installed.
11. A couple more cycles of uninstall/install.
12. Quit HelperScript, went to the OctoApp Companion folder and manually ran sh install.sh and it succeeded.

That's pretty much the entire process I went through and it now seems to be working correctly. Perhaps the reboot in there helped? Not sure. Besides the original problem, maybe consider allowing re-running the installer even if already installed (perhaps with a warning first).

For 7. the issue is that the uninstaller needs the venv. The fallback solution is to run rm -rf /usr/data/octoapp.
I'm not quite sure what's up there with the venv, something fishy is going on with some K1 machines seemingly
