Importing generate_query from pipelines

What module or folder is the 'pipelines' in from pipelines import generate_query (line 21 of pipelines/src/pipelines/tensorflow/prediction/pipeline.py) referring to? I cannot find this.

I saw a related issue opened and closed, without answer, in https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/vertex-pipelines-end-to-end-samples/issues/33

Thank you @browningjp-datatonic, I now see that! I'm still confused why from pipelines import generate_query fails to grab it though. Is there something I need to do in terms of setup before running pipelines/src/pipelines/tensorflow/training/pipeline.py ?

@pb-rategain-adara this should work OK if you are using the make commands. Have you set up your environment following the instructions in the README?

If you just run the Python file directly, it is unlikely to work

Thanks for this issue. Please check out the most recent PR and release.

Either use make training (or make prediction) or check out the Makefile for the command. Most likely you'll need to run poetry run python -m pipelines.training instead of python pipelines/training.py.
