Some pods in pending state

I am trying to deploy this demo application on my EKS cluster. Followed the steps provided in Readme doc and still I am finding some pods in pending state. Am I missing out something like some dependecies, etc?

UPDATE
Figured out Istio was not properly setup so it was not working. Fixed it and all pods are back running fine.
