Can't Open Desktop GnuCash 5.10 Database in GnuCash Pocket Android App After 2.7.8 Update

I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask for this kind of help, but after searching online, I saw that questions about the development of this Android version of GnuCash are often directed here, so I decided to post my question.
After updating GnuCash Pocket on Android to version 2.7.8, I can no longer open the database file I use on the desktop app (GnuCash 5.10) in the Android app. Previously, I was able to open the same data file from my computer on the mobile app without any issues.

I have the same issue. I try to open the desktop versions file in 2.7.8 and it stops importing even though the I could open the same file with a previous version. The error message is "an error occurred while importing GnuCash accounts".

Would it be possible to upload earlier versions in apk as a fallback? Now I can't use GnuCash Pocket at all without being able to import the desktop file's accounts and transactions...
